Our Staff
Teri
Weronko, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr Teri Weronko grew up in Brooklyn, New York and earned her bachelor degree in Animal Science at Cornell University and her doctorate of
Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tennessee. She has traveled all over the US but fell in love with this area and started
Snoqualmie Valley Animal Hospital 12 years ago.
Here at her home hospital she specializes in dogs, cats and goats, but her love of animals extends to
many species. She is one of the staff veterinarians for our own local zoo, Cougar Mountain Zoo, and is a member of
World Vets (an organization that does service veterinary work across the globe). With World Vets she has worked with horses in
Mexico, camels in Mongolia, donkeys in Africa, and tigers and elephants in Thailand.
This year in Thailand,
Dr. Teri was apart of the World Vet's Disaster Relief Team to aid in the rescue and medical care of domestic and wildlife
species during the flooding.
Her main hobbies this year are training agility with her dog Scoop!, learning to ski the big mountains, and trying to squeeze in more time for yoga, pottery, gardening, triathloning and her never ending French homework.
